Anglican Bishop Urges FG to Acknowledge Nigerians’ Economic Hardship

Anglican Bishop Dr. James Olusola Fagbemi has urged the Federal Government to acknowledge the severe hardship facing many Nigerians. He said rising prices of food, rent, school fees and medical care are placing enormous pressure on households. According to him, many families can no longer comfortably afford basic necessities or quality healthcare. The government says its economic reforms are needed to fix long-standing structural problems. However, the bishop argued that the success of those policies should be judged by whether ordinary Nigerians experience real relief in their daily lives.
