Kemi Badenoch Rejects Claims That Her Mixed-Race Children Are Not English
UK Conservative Party leader Kemi Badenoch has criticised Reform UK figures over comments questioning who can identify as English. Speaking at the Conservative Party conference in Birmingham, Badenoch said her Black and British identity, as well as the identity of her mixed-race children, should not be up for political debate. She accused Reform UK of pushing divisive ideas about national belonging. The row followed comments attributed to former Home Secretary Suella Braverman about whether British Asians can claim an English identity. Badenoch also ruled out any electoral alliance between the Conservatives and Reform UK.
