Duane “Keffe D” Davis Found Guilty in Tupac Shakur Murder Trial

Duane “Keffe D” Davis Found Guilty in Tupac Shakur Murder Trial

Duane “Keffe D” Davis has been found guilty of first-degree murder in the 1996 killing of rapper Tupac Shakur. The jury reached its verdict after less than three hours of deliberation. Prosecutors said Davis supplied the gun and directed members of the South Side Compton Crips to shoot Shakur in Las Vegas. They argued the attack was retaliation after Shakur and Suge Knight assaulted Davis’ nephew earlier that night. Davis was charged in 2023, decades after he discussed his alleged role in police interviews and a memoir. He is due to be sentenced on October 13 and could face life in prison.
