Why Many Responsible Nigerian Men Are Still Single
Many Nigerians ask where the good men are, while many responsible men are also wondering where to find partners who genuinely want committed relationships. Financial pressure is a major factor. With high living costs, rent, transport and family responsibilities, some men feel they must first become financially stable before dating seriously or considering marriage. Past heartbreak, fear of transactional relationships and the pressure created by social media also make some men more cautious. Others are focused on education, business or career growth, while some struggle with confidence and fear of rejection. Being a good person alone does not guarantee a relationship. Commitment also requires communication, emotional intelligence, compatibility and effort. Many good men are still single because they are healing, building their lives or waiting for a relationship that fits their values.
