Kano Man Allegedly Shoots Wedding Guests Over Loud Music, Leaving One Dead and Four Injured
A 34-year-old man, Rabiu Mukthar, has been arrested after allegedly opening fire at a neighbour’s wedding in Tudun Yola Quarters, Kano metropolis. Police said one guest was killed and four others were injured during the attack. Witnesses said guests, the couple and nearby residents fled as gunshots erupted at the ceremony. The suspect allegedly told investigators that he was angered by the loud music and could not sleep. Police reportedly recovered a pump-action gun and arrested another person in connection with the incident. The injured victims are receiving treatment as investigations continue.
