APGA Suspends Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe for Alleged Anti-Party Conduct
The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Abia State has announced the immediate and indefinite suspension of Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe. The action, effective from Friday, September 26, 2025, stemmed from a resolution by the party’s State Executive Committee (SEC) in Umuahia. APGA accused the senator of gross misconduct, defying party directives, and bringing the party into disrepute. A letter signed by State Secretary Pastor Peter Nduka confirmed that Abaribe failed to address a 24-hour notice to explain his alleged anti-party activities. The suspension will remain in place pending a disciplinary hearing under Articles 21(1)(K) and 22(1)(B) of the APGA Constitution. Relevant institutions, including security agencies, have been notified of the decision.
