Slovak President Calls for Stronger EU, NATO and Global Cooperation
Slovak President Peter Pellegrini has reaffirmed Slovakia’s commitment to the European Union and NATO, saying both institutions remain vital to the country’s security and economic prosperity. He said Slovakia should maintain strong diplomatic and economic ties with countries worldwide, including India and China, as global politics continues to shift. Pellegrini also called for a more effective EU, greater cooperation to lower energy costs, stronger security and renewed efforts to end the war in Ukraine through diplomacy rather than military action.
