Arkansas School Director Jailed After Orchestrating Child Fight Club
An Arkansas school director was sentenced to 30 days in jail after admitting she ran a fight club involving children. Mary Tracy Morrison, owner of The Delta Institute for the Developing Brain, pleaded guilty to one count of permitting child abuse and four counts of contributing to juvenile delinquency. Investigators reviewed footage showing Morrison instructing students to assault a peer with an object, berating the child during the attack, and then forcing an apology while warning everyone not to speak about it. She will also serve 120 days of house arrest, nine years of probation, and surrender her occupational therapy licence. Three other staff members have been arrested in connection with the case.
