Nigeria’s headline inflation rate fell to 15.43% in July 2026, from 15.91% in June, according to the National Bureau of Statistics’ latest Consumer Price Index report. The report puts month-on-month headline inflation at 1.57% in July. Food inflation stood at 5.56% on a month-on-month basis. The decline comes after the Central Bank of Nigeria retained its monetary policy rate at 26.50% in July.
