Bandits Storm Kaduna Wedding, Kill 13 and Abduct Guests
Armed bandits attacked a wedding in Kahir village, Kagarko LGA, Kaduna State, on Sunday night. They killed 13 guests and abducted an unknown number. A resident, Shehu Bala, said the gunmen stormed the venue with AK-47 rifles around 11:47 pm. Several others were wounded and rushed to Kagarko General Hospital. Two critically injured victims were sent to Kaduna for further care. A community leader said the raid lasted nearly an hour. The attackers also looted shops, stealing food and drugs. Many residents fled into the nearby bush. The Kaduna State Police Command is now tracking the suspects and confirming the number of abducted persons. State officials visited the injured at the hospital. Local sources note this follows other recent bandit raids in the area.
