Adamawa Police Rescue Teenager From Mob After Toddler Dies in Well

Police in Adamawa State rescued a 17-year-old girl from an angry mob after a three-year-old boy was allegedly thrown into a hand-dug well in Shuwa Village, Madagali LGA. The incident happened on October 31. Police said the child, Abdulrazak Aminu, was pulled from the well after hours of rescue efforts and later confirmed dead at Cottage Hospital in Gulak. Residents reportedly attempted to attack and set the teenager ablaze before officers intervened. Police said she is suspected to have a mental health condition, and calm has been restored in the community.
