Banky W Returns to Music With Victor Thompson on New Gospel Song
Banky W is returning to music after years away from the industry. The singer and pastor will feature on Victor Thompson’s new gospel single, “Super Power,” scheduled for release on November 6. He said he initially believed his music career had ended. But after new lyrics and melodies kept coming to him, he prayed for guidance and promised to use the gift for God if given songs to sing. Three weeks later, Victor Thompson sent him a message about collaborating. Banky W described the song as an act of obedience and encouragement for people who feel tired, overwhelmed or stuck. The release follows a major change in his life after his 2023 election loss. He has since become an associate pastor and is studying policy management in the United States.
