14-Year-Old Boy Found Dead in Cross River Community

The body of 14-year-old Ogar, who was reported missing after returning from school on Friday, was found in the Yahe River in northern Cross River State on Saturday afternoon. His mother said he left home shortly after eating on Friday and did not return. Family members and residents searched for him before his body was discovered about a kilometre from the community. The family is seeking answers over the circumstances surrounding his death. Police authorities had not commented on the incident at the time of the report.
