Zimbabwean Woman Remanded After Allegedly Biting Husband During Domestic Dispute

A 29-year-old woman, Sharline Rutendo Munenga, has been remanded in custody in Zimbabwe after she allegedly injured her husband during a domestic dispute. The incident reportedly happened in Dzivarasekwa 2 on September 9 after Munenga confronted her 33-year-old husband, Munyaradzi Pondi, over allegations of an extramarital affair. Prosecutors said an argument escalated into a physical confrontation. Pondi was taken to hospital and was reported to be in serious condition. Munenga appeared before a Harare magistrate on September 11 on a physical-abuse charge. The allegations are yet to be proven in court.
