US Mother Charged After SUV Carrying Her Two Children Falls Off Cliff
A Tennessee woman has been charged after an SUV carrying her two young children went over a cliff in Chattanooga and landed upside down near railway tracks. Police said one child suffered a broken arm and a bruised lung, while the other was treated and released. Both children were reportedly secured in child safety seats. Deputies alleged that the driver showed signs of alcohol impairment and found two wine bottles in the vehicle. She faces charges including driving under the influence, child neglect and vehicular assault. Blood-test results are still pending, and the allegations have not been tested in court.
