30-Day Plan to Stop Bandit Attacks by Empowering Community Vigilantes

Nigeria is under siege from bandit attacks and mass kidnappings. To end this in 30 days, President Tinubu should equip local vigilante groups across all 774 LGAs with Savage 170 pump-action rifles chambered in.30-30 Winchester. These weapons provide effective medium and long-range defence without excessive escalation. Each town and village should form a volunteer Civilian Defence Force of 50–100 members. They would work in four shifts to ensure continuous protection. Participants would also receive bulletproof vests, cameras, drones, and radios for communication and coordination. At the state level, four operational zones should be established to oversee joint missions between these community forces and official security agencies. With proper training and oversight, this strategy could drastically reduce kidnappings and killings in every region.
