Pat Utomi Recalls Surviving Accident and London 7/7 Attacks
Professor Pat Utomi has recounted two life-threatening experiences he says deepened his gratitude to God. He said doctors at Borromeo Hospital in Onitsha once believed he had died after an accident near Asaba caused severe internal bleeding and claimed his driver’s life. According to him, a surgeon persisted and surgery was carried out after signs of life were detected. Utomi also recalled narrowly escaping the 7/7 terrorist attacks on London’s transport system. He described July as a month of thanksgiving for his family and said his survival reaffirmed his faith.
