Nigerian entrepreneur Olamide Olowe has stepped down as CEO of skincare company Topicals after five years. She will remain involved in the business, with a greater focus on its long-term vision, community and brand story. Sukiana Chancy, a former Fenty Beauty executive, has been appointed CEO. She will lead Topicals' planned expansion across Africa, Europe and the Middle East, building on the brand's existing presence in Nigeria. Founded in 2020, Topicals makes products for chronic skin conditions and has raised more than $22 million. The brand has attracted investors including Rema and Angel Reese, and has become popular with Gen Z skincare shoppers.
