Zambian Model Lisa Mutambo Dies After Falling Ill Following Night Out
Zambian police are investigating the sudden death of 25-year-old model and socialite Lisa Mutambo, who reportedly began vomiting and lost consciousness after a night out with two friends in Lusaka. Police said the group visited two entertainment venues before Mutambo’s boyfriend picked them up in the early hours. After dropping off the two friends, he reportedly took Mutambo home to Kalundu, where she became ill. She was taken to Victoria Hospital and was pronounced dead on arrival. Police said no physical injuries were found on her body, contradicting online claims that she was assaulted. A post-mortem examination is expected as investigations continue.
