What Does It Cost to Start a Sachet-Water Factory in Nigeria?

What Does It Cost to Start a Sachet-Water Factory in Nigeria?

I am considering starting a sachet-water factory in Nigeria and have been researching the likely cost. There is no single fixed amount, as costs vary by location, production capacity, and whether the equipment is locally fabricated, imported, new, or fairly used. A single production machine may cost roughly ₦5 million to ₦8 million. However, the machine is only one part of the investment. Other major expenses include factory construction or rent, borehole drilling, water-treatment systems, power installation, packaging materials, permits, and working capital. Based on my findings, a basic setup could require between ₦15 million and ₦50 million, depending on the scale and equipment selected. For people who currently own, or have previously owned, a sachet-water factory, does this estimate reflect current realities? What important costs should a new investor plan for?
