Niger Police Arrest Man Allegedly Posing as Doctor and Injecting Women for ₦30,000

The Niger State Police Command has arrested 35-year-old Aminu Yusuf for allegedly posing as a medical doctor in Kontagora. Police spokesperson SP Wasiu Abiodun said Yusuf was arrested on August 24, 2026, after the command received credible information. He allegedly presented himself as a doctor despite having no medical qualifications or documentation. During questioning, he allegedly admitted administering medications and injections to several women, collecting ₦30,000 from each. Police say the investigation is ongoing and that he will be charged to court.
