Wike Says Fresh Political Strategy Is Underway for 2027

FCT Minister Nyesom Wike says political calculations for the 2027 general elections are already underway, though he did not disclose details of any new strategy. Speaking after inspecting projects in Abuja, Wike said election victories depend on identifying the strongest opponents and making calculated moves to limit their support. He revisited the G5 governors’ role in the 2023 presidential election, saying their approach in Rivers State was aimed at weakening Atiku Abubakar’s chances.
