Tinubu Extends Europe Working Vacation, Expected Back at Weekend
President Bola Tinubu has extended his working vacation in Europe by a few days and is expected to return to Nigeria at the weekend. Tinubu left Nigeria on August 30 for London before travelling to Paris, where he met with French President Emmanuel Macron and businessman Vincent Bolloré. The Presidency said he has remained in contact with developments at home and continued to issue directives. Vice President Kashim Shettima has represented the President at official functions and is currently leading Nigeria’s delegation to the UN General Assembly in New York. Secretary to the Government of the Federation George Akume will represent the President at official events while both leaders are away.
