Three Teenage Herders Killed in Attack in Plateau’s Mangu Area

Three teenage herders have been buried after they were killed while tending cattle in Aloghom, Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State. The victims were identified as Garzali Shaibu, 18, Bashiru Yakubu, 14, and Salim Abubakar, 15. About 50 cattle were also reportedly killed in the attack. Funeral prayers were held at the Mangu Central Mosque before their burial at Mangu Cemetery. The Mangu chapter of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association condemned the killings and urged young people to remain calm. The association called on security agencies to investigate the attack and protect all residents, while security personnel said investigations were ongoing.
