Man Arrested in Warri Over Alleged Attempt to Steal ₦70m Mercedes-Benz
Police in Warri, Delta State, have arrested a man accused of attempting to steal a Mercedes-Benz GLE 43 AMG from a car dealership. According to the report, he had visited the dealership a day earlier to negotiate the price but made no payment. He allegedly returned the next day and told staff that he had paid ₦70 million, after which he was issued a receipt. The dealership owner reportedly noticed the vehicle being driven out without approval and ordered security personnel to shut the gate. Police were called, and the suspect was taken into custody. The claim that he used juju to deceive staff remains an allegation pending investigation.
