RealWarriPikin Explains Timaya Stage Moment, Dismisses Calls to Leave Her Marriage
Comedian Anita Asuoha, known as RealWarriPikin, has apologised to her husband and fans after joining Timaya on stage during his performance at the AFRIMA Awards in Dallas, United States. She said she ran on stage after hearing the singer ask for a female fan, but did not know he intended to include her in a stunt. According to her, she initially told Timaya she could not do it but agreed after he appealed to her not to interrupt the performance. RealWarriPikin said the moment was amusing to the audience at the venue but attracted criticism online. She also rejected calls for her to leave her marriage, saying she remains committed to her husband. She was named Best Stand-Up Comedian at the awards, ahead of nominees including Basketmouth, Bovi and Godfrey.
