US Delivers Military Equipment to Nigerian Air Force Under Arms Deal
The United States has delivered military equipment to the Nigerian Air Force under an existing foreign military sales agreement. US Africa Command said a US Air Force C-17 transported the equipment over the weekend. The delivery is intended to strengthen security cooperation between both countries and support Nigeria’s counter-terrorism operations. Nigeria continues to face terrorism and other security threats in several parts of the country.
