Senator Iyiola Omisore has officially withdrawn his suit (FHC/OS/CS/261/2025) against the APC and INEC over the Osun governorship primary. The notice, filed at the Federal High Court in Osogbo, follows a successful reconciliation of the issues that sparked the dispute. Dated March 11, 2026, and processed on March 16, 2026, the withdrawal cites Order 50 Rule 2 (Sub-Rules 1 & 5) of the Federal High Court (Civil Procedure) Rules 2019. Lords and Temple’s team, led by Gboyega Oyewole, SAN, confirmed the discontinuance in a certified notice. The move is viewed as a major breakthrough for the APC in Osun State.
