Russia Signs Preliminary Deals to Supply Up to 105 Regional Aircraft to Indian Airlines

Russia’s United Aircraft Corporation says it has signed preliminary agreements to supply up to 105 Il-114-300 regional turboprop aircraft to Indian operators. The proposed deals cover 50 aircraft for Pinnacle Air, up to 20 for Air Kerala, and 35 for Sleek Aviation. The Sleek Aviation memorandum also includes plans for a pilot training centre and full-flight simulator. The agreements were announced at the Innoprom India industrial exhibition in New Delhi. The Il-114-300 is a Russian-built regional aircraft powered by Russian engines.
