In my opinion, the past three years have been extremely difficult for many Nigerian families. The removal of fuel subsidy and the floating of the naira have pushed up the cost of food, transport, rent and utilities. Many households can no longer afford proper meals or meet basic needs comfortably. Even some public servants who own cars now struggle to buy fuel regularly, as transport costs can consume a large part of their salaries. Has life improved for Nigerians, or has it become harder?
