Tinubu Since 2023: Have His Reforms Improved Life for Ordinary Nigerians?

President Bola Tinubu’s administration can point to major reforms since taking office in May 2023. These include petrol subsidy removal, foreign-exchange market changes, higher federation revenue, the student loan scheme, road projects, domestic refining, electricity reforms and housing programmes. The government says these policies have strengthened public finances, improved foreign reserves, expanded access to higher education financing and supported infrastructure development.
