Man Recounts Family’s Ordeal During Overnight Robbery, Says Robber Mocked Police Response
A man has recounted how armed robbers allegedly broke into his home in the early hours of October 17, leaving his family traumatised. He said more than 30 people tried to force their way through the gate before breaking through the burglary proof and entering the house. He said his main concern was keeping his family safe and letting the intruders take valuables without harming anyone. According to him, his young son has been distressed since the incident and is frightened by loud sounds. He also alleged that the robbers remained active for more than an hour without any security intervention. He said one of the robbers dared the family to call the police, claiming that nothing would happen. No member of the family was physically injured.
