Laide Bakare Prepares ‘First Official’ Wedding After Two Past Marriages

Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has announced plans for what she calls her “first official” marriage despite two previous unions. The 45-year-old revealed in a recent interview that wedding preparations are already underway. She spoke with popular host Mr LilGaGa but kept her fiancé’s identity and the ceremony date under wraps. Fans were earlier stirred by a proposal clip she posted in November 2023, which she later clarified was from a film scene. Bakare’s first marriage to Ondo-born entrepreneur Olumide Okunfulure produced a daughter, Simi. Her second union with Mutairu Orilowo blessed her with two sons before they quietly parted ways. Since debuting in the 1999 film Adeyemi, she has starred in many Nollywood productions and is known for her versatile performances.
