Trump Mourns Lindsey Graham as “A True American Patriot”

Trump Mourns Lindsey Graham as “A True American Patriot”

Former President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to mourn the sudden passing of Senator Lindsey Graham, calling him “one of the greatest people and Senators I have ever known.” He said Graham’s untimely death at 71 was “so sad” and that he will be “greatly missed.” Graham’s office announced late Saturday that the senator died after a brief and sudden illness. No specific cause has been released. A close ally of Trump in Congress, Graham was known for championing the President’s agenda and for his strong support of US-Israel relations. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also praised him as “one of our greatest friends” who devoted his life to defending freedom and strengthening alliances.

In times of loss, maybe greater focus on bipartisan bridge-building could honor Graham's legacy better than partisan eulogies.
