APC Wins All 17 Chairmanship Seats in Yobe Local Government Poll

The All Progressives Congress won all 17 chairmanship positions in Yobe State’s local government election held on September 26, 2026. The Yobe State Independent Electoral Commission announced the results in Damaturu on Sunday. It said 10 political parties took part in the election across the state’s 178 wards. The declared winners include Musa Dagona in Bade, Bukar Adamu in Damaturu, Abdulmumin Usani in Fika, Baba-Goni Bade in Fune and Mohammed Musa in Geidam. Councillorship results were declared at ward level, while chairmanship results were announced at local government collation centres.
