Osun APC Says It May Challenge Adeleke’s Governorship Election Victory in Court

The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has rejected claims that the governorship election is conclusively over following INEC’s declaration of results in favour of Governor Ademola Adeleke. The party said it is reviewing the results and alleged irregularities from the poll. It added that it would consult its legal team before deciding whether to challenge the outcome at the election tribunal. APC spokesperson Kola Olabisi said elections remain open to constitutional review through the courts. The party urged its supporters to remain calm, avoid provocation and go about their normal activities while it considers its next steps.
