Construction Begins on Isigwu-Amadim Bridge in Ukpor, Anambra

Nnewi South Mayor Van George Ezeogidi has flagged off construction of a mini bridge linking Isigwu and Amadim villages in Ukpor, Anambra State. The project is being funded by philanthropist Chinedu Okechukwu Emenu. It is expected to improve access between the two communities and make daily travel easier for residents and other road users. The mayor said the project reflects the state’s Public-Private-Community Partnership approach, which encourages communities, government and private residents to work together on local infrastructure needs.
