Five Suspects Arrested After Attack on Military Camp in Igbeti, Oyo

The Oyo State Government says five suspected attackers have been arrested after a military camp was attacked in Igbeti, Olorunsogo Local Government Area. Deputy Governor Bayo Lawal said the suspects were arrested wearing military uniforms. He added that soldiers had been deployed to search for other suspects linked to the attack. Authorities said grenade launchers allegedly used by the attackers ignited cooking gas cylinders at the camp, damaging an Operation Burst vehicle and nearby structures. The state has also set up an emergency committee involving five neighbouring local governments to support security operations in the Oke-Ogun area.
