Oyebanji Unveils 30-Year Innovation Vision for Ekiti at Future Summit
Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji has unveiled a 30-year vision aimed at building an innovation-driven economy through technology, agriculture, tourism, education and private-sector investment. Speaking at the Ekiti at 30 Future Summit in Ado Ekiti, he urged young people to develop practical skills and solutions rather than depend solely on government jobs. He said the state hopes to turn its intellectual capital into opportunities in software, digital services, research, engineering and technology entrepreneurship. The summit also featured calls for better power supply, infrastructure and stronger links between education, enterprise and industry. Winners of the Ekiti at 30 essay competition received cash prizes and laptop computers.
