Man Allegedly Kills Two Neighbours and Injures Six in Minneapolis Apartment Shooting
A 35-year-old man, Carlton Johnson II, allegedly shot dead two neighbours and injured six others during a shooting at an apartment complex in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Authorities said the violence began during a custody exchange involving the mother of Johnson’s child. She was reportedly shot but survived after emergency treatment. Johnson allegedly then shot two building employees before going to the ninth floor, where two residents, aged 63 and 61, were killed. Two police officers were also injured while responding to the incident. Police later shot Johnson dead during an exchange of gunfire. Reports say he had been facing eviction over allegations of violent threats and brandishing a firearm at the complex.
