The Ekiti State Youth Parliament delegation made contributions on artificial intelligence, cyberbullying, social media and youth entrepreneurship at the 2026 International Youth Development Conference in Freetown, Sierra Leone. The conference focused on how young people can use AI, social media and tourism to create sustainable livelihoods and innovation. The delegation urged youths to reject online platforms that profit from harassment, particularly abuse targeted at women. They further urged African governments to improve digital infrastructure and encouraged the private sector to support young innovators.
