Michael Jackson Accuser and His Mother Set for Depositions in Revived Abuse Lawsuit
James Safechuck, who alleges that Michael Jackson sexually abused him as a child, is scheduled to give sworn testimony on September 14 in his revived lawsuit against companies linked to the late singer. His mother, Stephanie Safechuck, is also due to be questioned on October 15 and 20. Her testimony is considered important because of her family’s former close relationship with Jackson. Safechuck and Wade Robson allege they were abused while minors at Jackson’s Neverland Ranch. Jackson denied the allegations during his lifetime. A California appeal court revived their claims against Jackson’s companies in 2023 after earlier rulings had dismissed the lawsuits.
