KC Luxury Arrives Lagos Court in Ambulance as He Seeks Medical Bail

Businessman and social media influencer Afolabi Michael Kazeem, known as KC Luxury, was brought to the Federal High Court in Lagos in an ambulance while receiving oxygen as he sought bail for specialised medical treatment. A nurse from the Police Hospital, Falomo, told the court that Kazeem had been admitted with asthma and sepsis and was too ill to leave the ambulance. Justice Musa Kakaki ordered that he be returned to the hospital after hearing the medical update. Kazeem and two others are standing trial over alleged trafficking of 184.5 kilogrammes of cocaine and money laundering. His lawyer argued that his condition had worsened and that he needed treatment at LUTH, while the NDLEA opposed the application and described him as a flight risk. Justice Kakaki adjourned ruling on the bail application until October 28, 2026.
