Tinubu Leads Obi by 1,067 Votes in 69,110-Response Online Poll
President Bola Tinubu polled 24,469 votes (35.41%) against Peter Obi’s 23,402 votes (33.86%) in the Oxford Metro Analytics National Trust Poll, an open online survey with 69,110 approved responses. Atiku Abubakar came third with 18,430 votes (26.67%). The poll showed Tinubu leading in the North West, North Central and South West. Obi led in the South East and South South, while Atiku led in the North East. Tinubu recorded the highest number of state and FCT leads, topping 21 reporting areas, while Obi and Atiku led in eight each. Participation was heavily concentrated in Lagos and the FCT, which together supplied more than half of all responses. The poll organiser said the exercise was voluntary, self-selected and not a scientific probability survey or an INEC result. Its findings should therefore be read as an online public pulse rather than a representation of Nigeria’s entire electorate.
