Ondo Police Rescue Two Kidnap Victims, Arrest Three Suspects in Akoko

Police in Ondo State say they rescued two kidnap victims during an operation in the forest along the Ifira–Idoani axis of Akoko South-East LGA. Security operatives, working with Amotekun and Agbe-Koya personnel, reportedly ambushed armed suspects on September 11. The victims were rescued unharmed, while ₦1.5 million suspected to be ransom money was recovered. Follow-up operations on September 13 led to the arrest of three suspects along Idoani Road. The victims reportedly identified the men as their abductors, while a motorcycle previously recovered by police was also linked to the operation.
