Primate Ayodele Warns Insecurity Could Disrupt 2027 Campaigns

Primate Elijah Ayodele has warned that worsening insecurity could become a major challenge for President Bola Tinubu’s administration and the 2027 general elections. The cleric said security concerns may intensify towards November and December, prompting public complaints and possibly disrupting political activities. He warned that politicians and their convoys could become targets if the situation deteriorates. He urged the Federal Government and security agencies to take proactive steps against emerging threats, saying stronger action is needed to protect citizens, supporters and candidates during the election period.
