Oyo PDP and Accord Aspirants Join APC With Over 3,000 Supporters
Two aspirants for the Ibadan North-East State Constituency 2 seat have left their parties for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State. Hammed Ademola of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Adedapo Ojo of the Accord Party said they joined the APC with more than 3,000 supporters ahead of the 2027 elections. Ademola said he believes the APC offers the strongest platform for the coming election. Ojo said efforts to build Accord into a stronger alternative in the state had not produced the expected results. The Oyo APC chairman, Moses Alake-Adeyemo, received the new members and said they would have equal opportunities in the party.
