Iran Claims Over One Million Volunteers Ready to Repel U.S. Ground Invasion

Iran’s leadership says it has mobilized more than one million fighters to resist a possible U.S. ground assault. Reports suggest the U.S. President favors a ground operation to push Tehran into accepting a 15-point peace plan, and the Pentagon is considering sending 10,000 additional troops. A military source cited by Iran’s state news agency adds that thousands of Iranian youths are lining up to join the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the Basij and the regular army.
