Ceuta and Melilla Tensions Renew Debate Over Spain–Morocco Dispute

Ceuta and Melilla Tensions Renew Debate Over Spain–Morocco Dispute

Ceuta and Melilla are Spanish autonomous cities on the North African coast, bordering Morocco. Recent reports and videos have renewed attention on migration pressures and Morocco’s long-standing territorial claims over both enclaves. However, claims linking the situation to Mossad, Jewish people, or a coordinated Zionist plot require credible evidence. Historical disputes between Spain and Morocco should be discussed without blaming entire religious or ethnic communities.
