Keyamo Says Atiku’s Criticism of Tinubu Stems From Presidential Frustration

Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo has criticised former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar over his recent comments about President Bola Tinubu’s administration. In a statement shared online, Keyamo said Atiku was struggling to accept Tinubu’s election as president. He described Atiku’s criticism as opposition politics driven by frustration over his long-running presidential ambition. Keyamo compared the political paths of both men and said Tinubu’s victory resulted from strategy, timing and circumstances. He urged those around Atiku to encourage restraint, arguing that continued attacks on the President could weaken Atiku’s support ahead of future elections.
